Hilton Polaris – Columbus, Ohio
This year, the conference committee wants your feedback BEFORE the conference. Submit a session proposal, nominate a speaker, or suggest a topic. We want to enhance the experience by providing information and opportunities YOU need!
Tell us what you want to see by filling out the survey.
Partner with OACAC and sponsor at this year’s conference!
Exciting benefits are available such as an educational session slot, a TED talk, a program ad and more when you partner with OACAC!
The deadline to commit to become a sponsor is January 19, 2018.
Ohio Association for College Admission Counseling’s Executive Board has voted to extend the Guiding the Way to Inclusion and Annual Conference experience by one more day!
After careful review and consideration, the board decided to extend the conference. This extended format marks a return to past structures before Ohio had the distinguished opportunity to host the NACAC National Conference last year.
We are excited for the additional aspects of the conference we hope to include such as extended vendor exhibits, room for additional educational sessions on important topics, more time to network with colleagues, and a chance to explore the Polaris area.
So, please mark your calendars and keep your eyes and ears open for more information and details as it becomes available.

2017 Conference Review
The 2017 annual conference offered high-impact educational sessions and excellent networking opportunities—in a convenient location and at a great value. In addition to the Annual Conference programming, the OACAC flagship workshop, Guiding the Way to Inclusion, offered dedicated, educational sessions on Sunday and throughout Monday.

We have a line-up of great presenters and speakers including Keynote Speaker Jeff Schiffman, Director of Admissions from Tulane University and NACAC speaker Tamara Siler, from Rice University. In keeping with the “fun” aspect of the conference we have a Spring Break theme that should prove for some terrific memories.
Registration materials are now live as of December 15th and you may register and book your hotel. We hope to have you join in the camaraderie, education, and good times that characterizes Annual Conference and GWI. For those of you with spring break at this time, I hope you’ll consider joining us. I believe you will find the conference invigorating and refreshing.
