Gannon University, a Catholic university, invites applications for the position of Enrollment Advisor. Reporting to the Director of Admissions, the successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing the qualifications of prospective students and making subsequent recommendations by utilizing established standards, guidelines and criteria; interviewing prospective students and their parents and arranging for departmental visits; corresponding with and visiting secondary schools in specific geographical regions, and representing Gannon University at college fairs. Must be able to support and promote the University’s Mission.
Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree; one-to-two years of higher education experience is preferred. Must have working knowledge of financial aid and how it relates to the enrollment process. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word and Excel); email and text messaging; and a valid driver’s license. Evening and weekend time commitments as well as overnight travel are required.
