Toward that end, our Enrollment Team is a vital resource to introduce, facilitate college discovery, and coach students who seek to learn.  This role will develop and fortify our strategy to build  our team, to reach and help more students. We are searching for a leader of our enrollment operations.  They will manage a team of 6 enrollment managers and supporting staff.  The enrollment managers, a team of 3 cover the State of Ohio including nearly 50 local high schools, career centers, as well as Job and Family Services Centers.  Three others work primarily on campus to enroll and follow up with prospective students.

Position Purpose:  
This role reports to our VP for Enrollment, Marketing and Student Development.  We are seeking a seasoned manager with strong leadership skills, and a background in sales management.  Candidates are welcome from current college enrollment/admissions groups or applicable sales management experience.  This leader will define the enrollment process with the collaboration of her/his team, senior staff and faculty to better it.  They will build and manage processes to deliver predictable results.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage a team of 8 to meet Hocking enrollment objectives
Work closely with marketing to forge mutual strategy for tactical execute with the enrollment (sales) and marketing efforts
Be a hands-on manager and lead by example
Forecast enrollment growth to the President and her leadership team
Identify best practice from the industry, and build that into Hockings processes where it makes sense

Qualifications – Education, Experience, and Skills:
Bachelors Degree
Sales management expertise with a track record of exceeding assigned objectives
College enrollment experience (valued but not required)
Strong leadership and coaching skills
Good public speaking ability
