Sr. Assistant or Assistant Regional Director of Online Enrollment (temporary, full-time 12-month position) to be responsible for the execution of Miami University Regionals’ strategic relationship and recruitment plan to increase online program enrollment for its assigned territory: Concentration: Health Sciences, RN-BSN emphasis; location: local/regional, statewide (Ohio), National. Duties include: Develop and maintain relationships with community college counselors and faculty, health care facilities, industry, and community officials in assigned territory; formulate recruitment strategies, plans, and goals for assigned territory for online program enrollment based on demographic analyses, market research, and other admission data; monitor admission and marketing activity in critical markets; prepare statistical reports and analyses; manage territory leads and engage prospective students, collaboration with Admission, Enrollment Communication, Academic Departments, and E-Campus to implement targeted, specific prospective student communication campaigns and engagement activity; facilitate transfer pathway assurance guides and articulation agreements for target ADN programs; develop and maintain recruitment marketing and strategies to promote transfer pathways; coordinate and represent Miami Regionals in external sponsored recruitment activities; organization, coordination, and management of Miami sponsored recruitment events and outreach activities; participate in professional organizations and professional development activities within the university and within assigned territory.
Require: Bachelor’s degree; experience with recruitment activities or sales; excellent communication skills, including public speaking and writing ability; high level of organizational and self-starting skills; ability to work with minimal supervision; demonstrated commitment to recruiting individuals from diverse backgrounds; knowledge of and experience with computer systems and various software applications, especially Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; ability to lift 30-40 lbs. of recruiting materials; valid driver’s license and automobile for travel; ability to perform overnight travel. This position is not eligible for H-1B sponsorship. To be appointed as Assistant Director, qualifications include a minimum of one to two years of experience in admission or health care, or Master’s Degree; to be appointed as Senior Assistant Director, qualifications include Master’s degree plus a minimum of two years in admission or health care.
Desire: Candidates who have experience in health sciences are preferred, but all qualified applicants will be considered. Master’s degree; experience with customer relations databases, experience with Banner; experience working with school counselors, community colleges, community-based organizations, and business/industry officials.
