Urbana University, a division of Franklin University, is currently seeking an Assistant Director of Admissions. Under the direction of the Dean of Admissions and Programs, the Assistant Director is responsible for the coordination of activities related to the admission of domestic students including the field recruitment, prospect contact and recruitment, application management, and enrollment. The Assistant Director is also responsible for Post-Baccalaureate and Subsequent Teacher Licensure Program recruitment and admission. In addition, the Assistant Director is responsible for the coordination of the University Welcome Center and the Franklin University Graduate Services Center. This individual will represent the university at graduate fairs, open houses and other recruitment events including group presentations and will build strong relationships with program faculty and administrators.

We seek someone with a Master’s degree and at least three years of progressively responsible experience in adult and graduate admissions at a regionally accredited college or university. The successful candidate must be able to work independently, present self in a professional manner and reflect the goals and standards of Urbana University. This individual must have excellent communication skills, strong computer skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality. Travel for recruitment events is required. Preference will be given to candidates that have prior experience working in a non-profit or that have been responsible for presentations at the corporate level.
