Walsh Jesuit High School seeks a dynamic professional to join its College Advising team in the role of College Advisor beginning in August 2022.  This is a full-time, 10-month position employed through the Summit County Educational Service Center.

The primary responsibilities of a Walsh Jesuit College Advisor include: educating students, parents, faculty, and school counselors about colleges, the college admissions process, admission criteria, financial aid, scholarships, and testing; building positive relationships with various colleges and universities; meeting with students individually and in small groups to discuss the college admission process and individual college choices; administering and interpreting standardized tests.

The qualified candidate will possess a bachelor’s or master’s degree, four or more years of professional work experience in college admissions or high school college advising, proficiency with college advising software, and will embrace and display Catholic/Christian values and spiritual life. Strong interpersonal, communication, and organization skills are a must.
